A Mechanical Project/Site Engineer oversees mechanical project execution at site, ensuring proper installation, supervision, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment. Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Commissioning Install mechanical equipment, piping, ducting, supports, and machinery. Ensure installation as per drawings and safety standards. Site Execution Supervise daily work of technicians and contractors. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion. Maintenance & Testing Perform routine checks for motors, pumps, HVAC, mechanical assemblies. Conduct alignment, vibration checks, and performance testing. Troubleshooting & Repair Identify mechanical issues like leakages, alignment errors, equipment failure. Fix faults to ensure smooth operation. Documentation & Reporting Maintain records of site work, testing, and daily progress. Prepare reports and submit to management. Coordination & Quality Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients. Maintain quality and follow safety guidelines. Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Configuration Install electrical panels, wiring, cables, grounding, and control systems. Configure sensors, switches, ELV systems, and electronic equipment. Maintenance & Testing Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems and circuits. Test continuity, voltage, current, and ensure proper functioning. Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose faults such as short circuits, loose wiring, sensor failures, error codes. Repair electrical components or replace faulty parts. Customer Support Provide technical training and support to clients. Assist customers on system operation and maintenance. Documentation Maintain service logs, wiring diagrams, testing reports, and repair details. Prepare daily or weekly site progress updates. Safety & Compliance Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulations. Follow PPE and site safety protocols.
