The Opportunity

We are seeking a Global VP, Solutioning Lead to act as a Business Development (BD) Solutions Design Executive who combines deep technical and operational expertise with sharp business acumen to design and develop winning, profitable, and scalable solutions that meet the needs of global clients and drive significant business growth. This executive role is critical for driving revenue generation and expanding our customer base through innovative deal structures.This new leader will be responsible for executive solution shaping, which entails creating compelling content and crafting a strategic story that addresses the client's business challenge while effectively representing our global capabilities. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role that requires personal contributions to the detailed design of proposed solutions across multiple industry domains and geographies, including existing and prospective clients.Additionally, this new leader will coordinate and create collateral for the opportunity, while driving deal commercials and customer business cases in collaboration with the Finance team. This leader will be actively engaged with C-level clients, leading due diligence activities, and commanding client stakeholder meetings as the Solution Authority.

The Responsibilities & Duties

  • Directly collaborate with Industry Vertical and Business Development teams to deeply understand the strategic requirements, operational challenges, and desired business outcomes of a prospective or current client.
  • Creating an executive opportunity summarization/briefing and assisting in the strategic qualification of an opportunity based on financial viability and capability alignment.
  • Own the scope definition and alignment to the win strategies as agreed with the vertical and BD lead, ensuring solution integrity and adherence to delivery capability.
  • Lead client discovery sessions/workshops, Mutual Value Discovery, whiteboarding, and oral presentations as the primary Solution Authority. Leading specific solution streams (e.g., Digital CX, Back-Office, Multilingual Hubs).
  • Collaborate with the team on the creation of the comprehensive Target Operating Model (TOM), detailing people, process, technology, and governance.
  • Architect the Digital Transformation roadmap, selecting the right Technology, Analytics, and Process Excellence (TAP) tools for solving specific business problems and embedding automation into the solution design.
  • Identifying commercial, operational, and technical risks and developing comprehensive mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the Cost and Business Case development, analysis, and coordination, ensuring the solution is priced competitively while achieving target profitability (GM/EBITDA).
  • Validate technical and financial assumptions based on the proposed solution (horizontal/GEO/TAP or Transformation); lead the due diligence activity and refinement of the solutions based on findings.
  • Provide expert support with the contracting document creation and negotiation process, specifically around Service Levels (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and technical solution exhibits.
  • Lead the comprehensive engagement handover to the Transition and Delivery team, providing detailed solution blueprints and actively participating in the lessons learned process to improve the solutioning methodology continuously.
  • Possess a deep and up-to-date understanding of the entire product portfolio and stay current with industry trends (e.g., Generative AI, Conversational Automation, Cloud Services) to design enhanced solutions proactively.
  • Mentor and coach other solution architects and BD professionals to build a high-performing global solutioning capability.

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above preferred (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science). A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is a significant advantage.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting role within the BPO or IT services industry is essential.
  • Proven expertise in large-scale deal solutioning (>$10M TCV), with direct experience owning the end-to-end commercial and technical design.
  • Solid experience with Profit & Loss (P&L) dynamics, pricing methodologies, business case development, and translating solution costs into compelling Return on Investment (ROI) models for clients.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging Contact Center and Business Services technologies, including Omnichannel platforms, RPA, AI/ML, Speech/Text Analytics, and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to present complex solutions, lead RFP Orals, facilitate executive workshops, and confidently engage at the C-suite level.
  • Experience working with and leading teams in a multi-country/geography environment, understanding the nuances of global delivery models (onshore, nearshore, offshore).
  • Capability to extract and integrate best-of-breed solutions from various internal and partner groups to develop simple and complex solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and structured thinking skills to understand complex client requirements and design appropriate, innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated Project/Program Management skills to manage multiple concurrent, large-scale client engagements under tight deadlines.
