Role Overview

General Manager – Tender

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end tendering processes for solar ground-mount and rooftop projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to prepare techno-commercial offers.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing strategies for EPC and fabrication works.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams for cost inputs and compliance.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and manage clarifications, documentation, and submissions.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of vendor rates, project costs, and tender outcomes.
• Lead and mentor the tendering team to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and process improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. / B. Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred).
• Minimum

  12–15 years

  of experience in tendering, estimation, or project costing within:
• Solar EPC (Ground Mount & Rooftop)
• Structural Fabrication or Renewable Energy Projects
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel

  ,

  AutoCAD (basic)

  , and

  ERP-based costing tools

  .
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
