Job Title: General Manager Location: Hotel Shubham Grand, [Insert City/State] Reports to: Owner/Managing Director Employment Type: Full-Time About Hotel Shubham Grand Hotel Shubham Grand is a premier hospitality destination known for its warm service, exceptional amenities, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. As we continue to grow and enhance our guest experience, we are looking for an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our dedicated team at Bhubaneswar. Job Summary The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations, ensuring profitability, guest satisfaction, and a high standard of service delivery. The GM will lead, train, and motivate staff, develop strategic business plans, and uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities Operational Management • Oversee daily operations of all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and Sales. • Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the hotel to achieve operational targets. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service throughout the property. Financial Management • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. • Monitor revenue, occupancy, and expense metrics to ensure profitability. • Implement cost control and efficiency strategies. Guest Experience • Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner. • Analyze guest feedback and implement changes for continuous improvement. • Uphold the hotel’s brand standards and commitment to quality. Team Leadership • Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff to ensure peak performance. • Foster a positive and productive work environment. • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews. Sales & Marketing • Work with the marketing team to implement effective promotional strategies. • Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other partners. • Identify new business opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue. Compliance & Safety • Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and legal requirements. • Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments. • Maintain security systems and emergency procedures.
