Hotel Operations Manager: Job Description

Role Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring seamless operations, high service standards, optimal profitability, and an outstanding guest experience across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:

· Manage and coordinate all hotel departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B) for efficient service delivery.

· Ensure hotel facilities and amenities are well-maintained and meet brand standards.

· Oversee inventory, procurement, and ordering of supplies.

2. Guest Experience:

· Implement policies to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality.

· Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and effectively.

· Promote a culture of excellence in guest care.

3. Financial Management:

· Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.

· Monitor operational metrics and financial reports for senior management.

4. Staff Leadership & Development:

· Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise department heads and staff.

· Foster a positive, accountable, and productive work environment.

· Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance for improvement.

5. Policy & Compliance:

· Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and local regulations.

6. Strategy & Collaboration:

· Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to drive revenue and occupancy.

· Identify opportunities for operational improvements and strategic development.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

· Proven experience in hotel management.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills.

· Proficiency in hotel management software.

· Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours.

Reporting To: Directors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
