Key Responsibilities Maintain and update sales, purchase, and sales return ledgers in Tally Prime. Record daily bank transactions, cash entries, receipts, and payments . Prepare and update the day book and ensure timely posting of all entries. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Manage vendor and customer invoices , ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial summaries and reports for management review. Ensure compliance with basic GST, TDS, and statutory accounting requirements . Support internal and external audit processes by providing required information and documentation. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data at all times. Desired Candidate Profile Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. Job Title: General Manager – Accounts & Operations Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh Industry: Building Material products import & wholesale Experience: 3–8 years (including team handling and senior accounts role) Reporting To: Directors / Managing Director Role summary The General Manager – Accounts & Operations will be the key link between the Directors and all major functions of the business, including accounts, sales, purchase and warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting, smooth coordination between departments, and proper stock availability as per sales demand. Key responsibilities Oversee end-to-end accounting of the company, including ledgers, receivables, payables, banking, and periodic financial reports. Lead and supervise the accounts team to ensure all books are updated on time and without discrepancies. Work closely with the sales team to monitor orders, collections, credit limits, and achievement of sales targets. Coordinate with the purchase team so that material is ordered as per sales projections and customer demand. Monitor warehouse and inventory, ensuring stock levels are accurate, reconciled with books, and there are no mismatches or stock-outs. Act as the primary operational contact between Directors and departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and resolution of issues. Implement and improve systems, processes, and controls for accounts, stock management, and inter-department coordination.
