Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager – Operations and Administration to lead and coordinate administrative, operational, production, logistics, sales, and transportation functions across our company’s facilities. The ideal candidate must have a strong manufacturing background, leadership skills, and a long-term growth mindset. This is a strategic role with a clear path to Vice President, overseeing AGMs as the company scales.


Background & Experience:

  • Must have worked in a

    medium to large-scale manufacturing company

    with a turnover of ₹150–250 crores.
  • Experience in managing

    100–200 workers operating in 3 shifts

    .
  • Should have a

    stable job history

    with long tenures in past roles.


Residence Preference:

  • Should be residing

    between Goregaon West to Khar West or up to Andheri East


Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

    .
  • MBA in Marketing preferred

    with

    HR as a second subject

    .

Other Preferences:

  • Ex-Defence personnel preferred

    .
  • No second source of income allowed

    (no side business or freelancing)


Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee daily factory and office operations including production, dispatch, compliance, safety, and documentation.
  • Lead workforce and HR functions including attendance, salaries, gratuity, loan recovery, and audits.
  • Monitor petty cash, expense tracking, and document control across locations.

Purchase & Inventory

  • Handle procurement of essential materials: Ammonia, drums, packing material.
  • Ensure seamless supply to support uninterrupted operations.

Dispatch & Customer Coordination

  • Coordinate daily dispatch schedules with factory.
  • Handle receipt of POs, invoicing, and timely payment collection.

Factory Management

  • Manage production, maintenance, discipline, statutory compliance, and housekeeping.

Sales & Marketing

  • Develop and execute local and export sales strategies.
  • Approach new customers, take orders, and create actionable marketing plans.
  • Follow up on government export incentives.

Logistics & Transport

  • Supervise tanker movement, documentation (BAMCO & JTS), and regulatory renewals.
  • Work with relevant personnel to manage driver expenses and transport efficiency.

Salary:

  • ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month (based on experience and fit)
