Job Description

GM- Marketing Industrial Products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with company goals and growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, product applications, and industrial sectors (automotive, electrical, construction, solar, railways, etc.).
  • Drive business expansion through key account management and development of new clients.
  • Conduct feasibility and market analysis for new product lines and customer segments.

2. Sales & Revenue Management

  • Achieve sales, margin, and collection targets for domestic and export markets.
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline; ensure a strong order book through consistent customer engagement.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts and long-term supply agreements.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to ensure competitiveness.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, industrial buyers, and distributors.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through quality service, timely delivery, and complaint resolution.
  • Partner with the technical and production teams to develop customized solutions for clients.

4. Product & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct regular market studies to identify demand patterns, industry trends, and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production to introduce new alloy profiles, finishes, and fabricated components.
  • Prepare product positioning, technical presentations, and promotional materials.

5. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of regional managers, sales engineers, and marketing professionals.
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure accountability and productivity.
  • Promote a culture of customer focus, performance excellence, and ethical business conduct.

6. Coordination with Internal Stakeholders

  • Work closely with production, planning, design, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Collaborate with finance for pricing, credit control, and revenue forecasting.
  • Participate in management meetings for strategic decision-making and AOP (Annual Operating Plan) formulation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical / metallurgical / industrial engineering (preferred).
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum

    15–20 years

    of experience in B2B / industrial marketing, with at least

    5 years in Aluminium extrusion products

    .
  • Proven track record in strategic sales, pricing, and key account management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong business acumen with deep understanding of industrial product marketing.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Technical knowledge of aluminium extrusion profiles, dies, and fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, SAP/ERP systems.
  • Leadership and team-building capabilities.
