Job Description

Job Purpose:

Managing timely commission of Green Field Project & manufacturing of Pharma Intermediates & API’s Products, its operations, production/ productivity ensuring quality & regulatory affairs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Managing plant of operations of Pharma Intermediates & API’s Products. Will be leading a direct team of functional managers (Production, Maintenance, QC & Engineering) and a team of plant operators.
  2. Will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the manufacturing and distribution facility.
  3. Primary focus is to plan, organize and direct the manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, maintenance and logistics in a manner which assures the most effective return on assets employed.
  4. Ensuring productivity, quality, cost, service and safety targets for the manufacturing units.
  5. Conceptualizing, creating/ modifying, implementing, monitoring, and maintenance, re-view & upgrade operational procedures.
  6. Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures. Establishes and directs plant policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain a safe, clean, and reliable plant. Responsible for safety of the whole site, including for personnel of other departments which reside on site as well as contractors.
  8. Review, analyze, plan, coordinate and lead all activities within the manufacturing operations organization.
  9. Assure the development and coordination of systems and programs to promote cost effective manufacturing operations in line with manufacturing plans and objectives.
  10. Support programs and procedures that provide reliable products with minimal quality control, repair, scrap and warranty expenses. Assures attainment of programs and production schedules while ensuring high quality standards.
  11. Accountable for product quality control for the plant.
  12. Responsibilities include establishment of training and development programs, assessment of performance, creation of new talent and taking the lead in recruitment efforts to ensure excellence and efficiency throughout the plant.

  1. Timely commissioning of the project as per project plan.
  2. Smooth operation of the plant with desired level of quality.
  3. Optimum production / productivity of equipment- s, machinery, & Human resources.
