General Manager Finance

As a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with expertise in Ind AS, financial reporting, and controllership, your role at the leading telecom company in Gurugram will involve navigating complex business transactions and providing strategic financial solutions to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure adherence to Ind AS, IFRS, and Companies Act in financial reporting. - Provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting, and PPE accounting. - Assess the financial impact of business transactions. - Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews. - Collaborate with business teams, finance leaders, and auditors to align accounting treatments with business objectives. - Evaluate financial implications of commercial contracts, pricing models, and capital investments. - Support business in financial decision-making, risk assessment, and policy interpretation. - Identify financial risks, gaps, and policy implications, proposing mitigation strategies. - Implement and standardize finance policies, internal controls, and SOPs. - Lead governance and compliance initiatives, ensuring robust financial oversight. - Work closely with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Business Finance, Legal, and Operations). - Serve as an SME in audits, regulatory discussions, and investor reporting. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of post-qualification experience in capitalization of intangible assets, SaaS models, lease accounting, revenue, etc. - Strong knowledge of accounting guidelines and standards, CARO, and related regulations. - People managerial skills. - Teamwork and collaboration. - Cross-functional and cross-cultural appreciation. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to align strategies and systems to business needs. - Ability to ensure the empowerment and development of the personnel within the department. - Business and commercial acumen.,
