Manhattan TMS Consultant - 7+ Years Company Name: WillWare Technologies Work model : Remote / Fulltime Experience : 7+ Years Location : Bangalore / Gurgaon / Noida / Hyderabad / Pune Job Description: Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning • Develop and implement a TMS-specific test strategy covering unit, integration, system, and UAT phases. • Define test scope, objectives, entry/exit criteria, and risk mitigation plans. •Collaborate with business teams to ensure test cases align with transportation operations and business processes. Test Execution & Management • Conduct unit testing on TMS core functionalities (e.g., order management, routing, carrier selection, freight billing). • Lead integration testing with ERP, WMS, carrier APIs, and freight payment systems to ensure seamless data exchange. • Execute system testing to validate real-world transportation scenarios (e.g., carrier tendering, tracking, exception handling). • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with logistics teams, ensuring business requirements are met before go-live. • Manage performance testing to assess system scalability, response time, and batch processing efficiency. • Perform security testing to validate user role permissions, data protection, and compliance. • Drive regression testing post-TMS updates or enhancements. Defect Management & Reporting • Log and track defects using JIRA, ServiceNow, or TestRail. • Work closely with developers and system integrators to resolve issues. • Provide regular test reports and go-live readiness assessments to stakeholders. Required: • 5+ years of experience in TMS implementation testing or transportation software QA. • Strong knowledge of transportation operations (LTL, TL, Parcel, Intermodal, Air, Ocean). • Experience with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle TM, Blue Yonder, Mercury Gate, SAP TM, Manhattan TMS). • Hands-on experience with EDI (204, 214, 210, 211) and API-based integrations. • Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM). • Understanding of carrier rate engines, freight audit & payment, and logistics workflows. • Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and identify issues. • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with IT, logistics, and carrier partners.
