About The Role
Design and build cloud-native software for Brightstone. You will work on the backend, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines, combining hands-on development with strategic input. This role requires a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development and infrastructure management. You will be instrumental in designing scalable backend systems, building microservices, and managing cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. The position offers a fully remote working environment with occasional meetups to foster team collaboration and alignment on project goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with .NET Core and/or Python backend development
- Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services such as App Services, AKS, Functions, VNet, and Private Endpoints
- Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
- Deep understanding of API design, REST, GraphQL, and API security best practices
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI and AI feature integration is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET Core, Python, or Node.js
- Build and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring adherence to Zero Trust Architecture principles
- Utilize IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep to automate environment provisioning and management
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless deployment and updates
- Build REST and GraphQL APIs with robust security, authentication, and Private Endpoint integration
- Integrate AI features leveraging Azure OpenAI to enhance product capabilities
- Implement security measures, including authentication, authorization, and compliance standards
- Optimize system performance through caching, load balancing, and scalability techniques
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to ensure system health and availability
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to deliver high-quality features and solutions
