Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with around 2 years of professional experience building scalable, user-friendly web applications end-to-end. You will work across the stack to translate product requirements into reliable, performant features and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Build reusable, accessible UI components using React (functional components, hooks, context/state management).
• Implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs in Node.js (Express/Nest or similar), including routing, validation, and error handling.
• Design and interact with MongoDB schemas (Mongoose or similar ODM) for efficient data modeling and queries.
• Use Next.js features such as server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), API routes, and dynamic routing to improve performance and SEO.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services (authentication, payments, email, analytics, etc.).
• Ensure responsive, mobile-first, and cross-browser compatible UI based on designs from UX/UI teams.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability, including bundle size, caching, and lazy loading.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews, debugging, and refactoring.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to plan, estimate, and deliver features.
• Set up and maintain environment configs for dev/stage/prod and support deployment pipelines (CI/CD).

Required Skills

• ~2 years experience as a Full Stack or Frontend-focused Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and at least basic knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with React.js (hooks, context, React Router or Next routing).
• Experience with Next.js for SSR/SSG, routing, and API routes.
• Strong back-end skills in Node.js with Express (or similar framework) for building APIs.
• Experience working with MongoDB and Mongoose (or similar ODM) schema design, queries, indexing basics.
• Strong layout and styling skills with HTML5, CSS3, and a modern styling solution (Tailwind CSS, Sass, or CSS-in-JS).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and package managers (npm/yarn/pnpm).
• Experience with Git/GitHub (branching strategies, pull requests, basic CI integration).
• Good understanding of responsive design, web performance, and accessibility best practices.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript across the stack (React + Node).
• Exposure to testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience deploying apps to cloud platforms (Vercel, Netlify, AWS, GCP, or Azure) and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, session management, cookies).
• Awareness of security best practices (OWASP basics, input validation, rate limiting, etc.).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience and demonstrable portfolio of work).
