Frontend Engineer - Sandbox (Product Prototyping, React)

.This role is ideal for a frontend engineer passionate about turning concepts into customer-facing prototypes that drive product innovation. You will primarily work in the Sandbox environment, rapidly building and iterating high-quality, production-ready UI components. This position combines creative problem-solving, UX craftsmanship, and frontend development expertise to ensure prototypes can seamlessly graduate into the main product. You will also contribute to growth-facing web initiatives, including marketing pages, SEO optimization, and analytics setup. Working closely with designers, PMs, and backend engineers, you will help shape the user experience, ensure performance and accessibility standards, and accelerate idea-to-impact velocity in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Accountabilities
- Rapidly translate product and design concepts into functioning sandbox experiences, focusing on speed, UX quality, and scalability
- Build production-grade components that can graduate from sandbox to core product with minimal rework
- Ensure polished, customer-facing UX including accessibility, responsive design, and handling of empty/error/loading states
- Develop and maintain component libraries and design primitives for reuse across sandbox and product environments
- Instrument analytics and telemetry to validate prototypes and monitor user interactions
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define clean data contracts and mock data for rapid iteration
- Design and maintain React-based marketing pages and high-converting landing pages with SEO best practices
- Implement experimentation and analytics tracking (events, funnels, A/B testing) to support marketing initiatives
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience building React applications using modern tooling (TypeScript preferred, React Router, state management, testing)
- Demonstrated experience shipping polished, high-performance UI components to real users
- Strong understanding of prototype-to-product workflows and architectural best practices
- Proficiency in web performance optimization, accessibility standards (Core Web Vitals, a11y), and responsive design
- Practical knowledge of SEO implementation (metadata, schema, sitemaps, indexation)
- Experience with analytics and experimentation frameworks (events, funnels, A/B tests)
- Comfortable collaborating with design systems, Figma handoff, and component APIs
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-management skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
