Primary Title: Frontend Engineer
A deep‑tech organisation operating at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing, building production‑grade software and interactive web experiences that accelerate research and enterprise workflows. We deliver performant, secure, and accessible web UIs that expose advanced ML/quantum capabilities to internal and external users.Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India | Employment Type: Full‑timeRole & Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular, component‑driven React applications using HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build responsive, accessible and high‑performance UIs across devices; optimise load times, rendering and SEO for public web surfaces.
• Implement and maintain predictable application state using Redux Toolkit (RTK) or equivalent state management patterns.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to translate designs and APIs into robust front‑end features; own feature delivery end‑to‑end.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and apply frontend best practices for maintainability and observability.
• Diagnose and resolve cross‑browser issues, performance bottlenecks and production regressions; contribute to frontend architecture and tooling improvements.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

• Frontend Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• React.js Expertise: Proven experience building and deploying React-based applications.
• JavaScript Proficiency: Understanding of asynchronous programming, DOM manipulation, and modern JS concepts.
• State Management: Hands-on experience with Redux Toolkit (RTK).
• Responsive Design: Expertise with CSS Grid, Flexbox, and media queries for mobile-first designs.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows.
• Cross-browser Compatibility: Experience ensuring seamless functionality across browsers and devices.
• Performance Optimization: Knowledge of frontend performance best practices.
• Testing: Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in agile teams.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js for SSR and static site generation.
• Familiarity with component libraries like Shadcn/ui or other modern design systems.
• Knowledge of alternative state management tools such as Zustand.
• Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and frontend integration.
• Hands-on experience with API integration and end-to-end development.
• Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• Experience with TypeScript for type-safe development.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).
• Experience working with design systems and component-driven development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications.
