Frontend Engineer

As a Frontend Engineer - E3 at BitGo, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with design and product managers to plan and develop new UIs for upcoming initiatives. Your responsibilities will include improving existing UI functionality, building reusable code for future use, and engaging in cross-team communications with stakeholders to understand implementation requirements and limitations. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and promote best practices. You will also be responsible for providing maintenance support and enhancing performance to existing applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate closely with design and product managers to plan and develop new UIs - Improve existing UI functionality on a variety of products - Build reusable code for future use - Communicate with stakeholders to understand implementation requirements - Provide mentorship to peers through code reviews - Provide maintenance support and enhance performance of existing applications **Qualifications Required:** - At least 5+ years of frontend software engineering experience - Strong experience with React/NextJS and stay updated with the latest frontend developments - Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML - Experience working with Node.js and Express applications - Keen eye for detail and providing an excellent user experience - Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment BitGo values open communication, transparency, taking ownership, and a high level of craftsmanship.
