As a Frontend Engineer at Pixxel, you will play a crucial role in advancing and managing the in-house analytics platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and testing UI for web applications while considering design patterns and best practices, and inclusive of necessary unit and integration tests. - Accurately translating user and business needs into functional frontend code. - Building reusable code and libraries for future use. - Working closely with the Design Engineer, Engineering Team, and Product Team. - Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. - Being a full owner by shaping the foundation of the product and business you work on. - Actively learning new languages, techniques, and methodologies. - Developing innovative and straightforward UI for complex problems and translating design thinking into the product. - Developing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts. - Developing and maintaining front-end architecture to support user interface concepts. - Monitoring and improving front-end performance. - Documenting application changes and development updates. - Bringing a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies. Desirable Skills & Certifications: - Proven experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies. - Experience with popular React libraries and tools, such as Redux, React Router, and Axios. - Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn. - Understanding of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work as part of a team in an agile development environment.
