We’re seeking a Junior Front End Developer ( 2-3 Years Experience) with foundational front-end development skills and an interest in technical SEO. If you’re eager to build user-friendly websites while ensuring they perform well in search engines, this role offers a balance of coding and optimization challenges. Your Responsibilities Develop clean, responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue). Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate wireframes into functional, accessible interfaces. Optimize for Technical SEO: Implement SEO-friendly markup (semantic HTML, meta tags, structured data). Improve site speed through code optimization (image compression, lazy loading, efficient CSS/JS). Ensure crawlability with clean URL structures and proper use of canonical tags. Collaborate with SEO/content teams to resolve technical issues (404 errors, redirects). Maintain and customize CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or WooCommerce (basic theme/template adjustments). Write modular, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. Stay updated on evolving web standards and SEO best practices. Skills We’re Looking For Core Development Skills Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and vanilla JavaScript. Basic understanding of modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). Familiarity with Git, RESTful APIs, and cross-browser compatibility. Portfolio/GitHub demonstrating front-end projects. SEO & Practical Knowledge Awareness of technical SEO principles (page speed, mobile-first indexing, structured data). Exposure to tools like Google Lighthouse, Screaming Frog, or SEMrush. Basic experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) and their SEO plugins (Yoast, SEOmatic). Interest in accessibility standards (WCAG) and schema markup. Academic Background Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Bootcamp graduates with a focus on web development are encouraged to apply.
