About the Role

We're seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our growing startup team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining our web applications using modern technologies, with a focus on creating exceptional user experiences that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js and React
• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs from Figma/Adobe XD mockups
• Build reusable component libraries and maintain design systems
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
• Work closely with designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and frontend strategy

Required Skills & Technologies

Frontend Frameworks & Libraries:

• Next.js (App Router and Pages Router)
• React.js (Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle)
• TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+)

Styling & Design:

• CSS3, SCSS/Sass, CSS-in-JS (styled-components, Emotion)
• Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks
• Responsive design and mobile-first development
• CSS animations and transitions

Development Tools:

• Git version control
• npm/yarn package management
• Webpack, Vite, or similar build tools
• Browser DevTools for debugging and performance analysis

Additional Technical Skills:

• RESTful API integration and GraphQL knowledge (preferred)
• State management (Redux, Zustand, or Context API)
• Testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, image optimization)
• SEO best practices and meta tag management
• Web accessibility standards (WCAG)

Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years of frontend development experience
• 1+ years of hands-on Next.js experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web applications
• Experience with modern development workflows (CI/CD, code reviews)
• Understanding of web performance optimization
• Experience working in agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with headless CMS integration (Contentful, Strapi, Sanity)
• Knowledge of Progressive Web App (PWA) development
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks
• Understanding of serverless architecture and deployment (Vercel, Netlify)
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, databases)
• Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch)
