Frontend Developer

You are being hired as a Front End Developer (SDE-I) in the Technology function at NowPurchase, a digital marketplace transforming the Metal Manufacturing industry. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver high-quality web interfaces and dashboards to optimize the manufacturing process for metal manufacturers. - Develop high-quality modular code deployed on web and mobile platforms, utilizing REST-based services and real-time sockets for visual dashboards and real-time optimizations crucial for manufacturing. - Lead the front-end team to ensure the delivery of high-quality code, encourage experimentation with tools, and oversee the development of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). - Emphasize on shipping features quickly while maintaining code quality, iterating on MVPs based on customer feedback. - Own Agile projects, lead the team from software design to deployment, manage sprints, delivery timelines, and contribute to enhancing the engineering team. - Translate UI designs and mockups into interactive pages and flows using CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks, sometimes creating mockups yourself. - Cultivate a culture of simplicity and pragmatism through elegant code, conduct thorough code reviews, and establish streamlined processes. - B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering Desired Attributes: - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in developing rich UI/Front-end for user-facing web applications. - Strong proficiency in React or similar frameworks, TypeScript, SPA, PWA, OOP, and Unit tests. - Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate as an individual contributor. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills.,
