Job Description

Perks: Food and Accommodation: Purpose of the Role To create a warm and welcoming first impression for every guest, ensure smooth check-in/check-out, handle guest queries efficiently, and coordinate front office operations for excellent guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : Guest Interaction & Service : Welcome guests courteously upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally. Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel facilities, local attractions, and travel routes. Ensure smooth coordination between housekeeping, F&B, and other departments for guest needs. Upsell room categories and services to maximize revenue. Front Desk Operations: Operate the PMS (Property Management System) efficiently — check-in, check-out, billing, and room allocation. Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, and room status reports. Manage daily cash float, receipts, and deposit processes. Ensure compliance with all security, safety, and audit requirements. Handle corporate bookings and coordinate with travel agents / OTA partners when required. Communication & Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping for room readiness and maintenance issues. Coordinate with night audit and accounts for daily revenue closure. Maintain daily logbooks and shift handovers clearly. Report VIP arrivals, special requests, and repeat guests to management. Skills & Attributes: Pleasant personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent grooming and body language. Good command over English, Hindi, and local language (Marathi preferred). Tech-savvy and familiar with PMS software (e.g., IDS, eZee, Opera, Cloudbeds). Ability to handle stress, multitask, and maintain composure during busy periods. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent. 1–3 years of front office or guest relations experience (freshers with good communication can be considered). Previous experience in a 3-star or above property preferred. Compensation & PerksSalary: ₹18,000 – ₹28,000 per month (depending on experience & property category). Complimentary duty meals, uniforms, and accommodation (if applicable). Incentives on upselling and guest satisfaction scores. Growth opportunities within the hotel group. KPIs (Performance Indicators)Guest satisfaction / feedback ratings. Accuracy of billing and night audit reports. Average upselling per month. Complaint resolution time. Check-in/check-out efficiency. Night Shift Preferable
