Role Objective

To deliver outstanding customer service at the salon front desk, manage client appointments and walk-ins efficiently, and support smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to revenue through upselling and business conversion.


Key Responsibilities

1. Client Interaction & Customer Service

  • Greet clients warmly and maintain a professional, welcoming ambiance.
  • Handle client inquiries across in-person, phone, and digital platforms.
  • Provide accurate information about services, pricing, offers, memberships, and products.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and promptly resolve feedback or complaints.

2. Appointment & Walk-In Management

  • Manage client bookings through salon software or manual registers.
  • Allocate appointments based on staff availability and service duration.
  • Handle client check-in and check-out processes smoothly.
  • Minimize wait times and avoid scheduling conflicts.

3. Billing & Cash Handling

  • Generate bills and process payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.).
  • Maintain daily sales records and submit end-of-day reports.
  • Manage petty cash and reconcile daily cash flow.

4. Operational & Administrative Support

  • Ensure cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the front desk/reception area.
  • Maintain and update client records in the CRM system.
  • Manage desk inventory for retail product displays.
  • Assist the salon manager in daily coordination and reporting tasks.

5. Business Conversion & Upselling

  • Actively promote and upsell salon services, packages, and retail products.
  • Educate clients on seasonal promotions, loyalty programs, and membership benefits.
  • Encourage repeat visits and contribute to salon revenue targets.


Qualifications

  • Graduate or 12th pass with relevant customer-facing or administrative experience.

Experience

  • 0–5 years in a similar front-desk, hospitality, or customer service role.
