Bartender

Pernem, Goa, India

Full Time

Job Title: Bartender Location: Morjim, Goa Position Type: Full-time / Part-time About Us We’re not just a cocktail bar — we’re your friend’s living room, your favourite night out, your new local, and the place where strangers become stories. Nestled in Morjim, Goa — a place where sun-kissed days flow into warm, electric nights — our bar isn’t about fancy tricks or stiff service. It’s about real people, real conversations, and cocktails that taste like a good time. We’re creating a space where people come to unwind, connect, and leave their day behind. And at the heart of this vibe is our team — a family of bartenders and servers who bring it all to life every single night. Who We’re Looking For We’re not hunting for robots or flair bartenders who spin bottles for Instagram. We’re looking for personalities. People with stories, charm, curiosity, and a hunger to grow in hospitality. Our bartenders are more than drink makers — they’re vibe curators, mood shifters, conversation starters, and sometimes, the best listeners in the house. You should feel comfortable talking to absolutely anyone — tourists, locals, first-timers, regulars, expats — and make them feel seen. We love accents, we love individuality, and we want people who are confident in their skin. Looks matter — not in a shallow sense, but in how you present yourself. Sharp, stylish, comfortable in your own vibe — someone who stands behind the bar like they own it. You must have a natural command over English — we’re a coastal crowd with guests from all over the world, and being able to connect easily is key. If you have an accent that turns heads, even better. Your Job, In a Nutshell Craft cocktails that make people come back — we don’t need fancy tricks, just consistent, tasty drinks that you enjoy making and they enjoy sipping. Read the room — the bar might be chill one night and wild the next. You should know when to keep it cool, when to hype it up, and when to step in and steer the vibe. Be genuinely observant — notice when a glass is empty, when someone looks lost, when a guest needs something before they even ask. It’s the smallest gestures that turn a night out into an experience. Keep the energy up — you should be the kind of person who loves working while everyone else is partying. If you can dance a little behind the bar while shaking cocktails, we’re all for it. Be a team player — we’re all about the collective vibe. Help your fellow servers, look out for your barbacks, respect the kitchen. A good shift is one where everyone goes home smiling. Take pride in your bar — keep it neat, clean, stocked, and ready. Nothing kills a good night faster than waiting for a drink because the bar is a mess. Be hungry — for learning, growing, experimenting. Want to create new cocktails for the menu? Amazing. Want to learn about spirits you don’t know? Even better. We love people who see bartending as more than just a side gig. What You Don’t Need You don’t need flair skills or circus tricks. We’re not here to juggle bottles. You don’t need a stiff suit or corporate bar experience. You don’t need to pretend to be someone you’re not. Who You Are You love people — the loud ones, the quiet ones, the weird ones, the ones who stay till closing. You’re naturally extroverted — being around people energizes you, not drains you. You have a real sense of satisfaction in serving — you know there’s pride in making someone’s night. You’re observant — you catch details, you remember faces, you notice who likes their martini dirty and who’s about to leave. You’re adaptable — no two nights are the same. One evening might be a laid-back sunset crowd; the next could be wild until 3 AM. You should thrive on the unexpected. You’re professional — but never boring. Respectful to everyone, including your teammates, your guests, and yourself. You’re hungry — not just for your next paycheck, but for learning and growth. Maybe you want to run your own bar someday — we love that. You love Morjim — or want to love it. The vibe, the people, the mix of locals, hippies, backpackers, and regulars who call Goa home for a season or a lifetime. What We Offer A workplace that feels like family — we look out for each other. A chance to grow — whether you’re new to bartending or have years under your belt, we want you to develop your craft here. Good pay, good tips, and a crowd that appreciates what you do. Flexible shifts — we know life isn’t 9 to 5. Freedom to be yourself — we don’t want uniforms that strip away your personality. We want you to shine behind the bar. The chance to create — bring your ideas, new drinks, fun events. We’re always up for a new vibe. These are the few things we won’t compromise on: ✅ Be observant — if you miss the details, you miss the magic. ✅ Have real hunger to make a mark in hospitality — we want people who care about this craft. ✅ Be able to craft good cocktails — basics matter more than tricks. Come Be the Vibe If you’re reading this and thinking — “That’s me!” — then you’re already halfway there. We don’t hire resumes, we hire humans. So come show us who you are. Drop us a message, swing by for a drink, and let’s see if you belong behind our bar in Morjim. Ready to Apply? Send us a quick note about who you are, your experience, your favourite cocktail to make, and why you’d love to bartend in Morjim. Email- pavitra@yaarhospitality.com We can’t wait to meet you. Cheers!
