The company is now an FMC-licensed Freight Forwarder and NVOCC, offering comprehensive international shipping solutions across ocean, air, and inland transportation. We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Operations Manager to lead and manage our growing freight forwarding and NVOCC operations. This role will oversee daily international logistics activities, ensure full compliance with FMC and trade regulations, and support the company’s expansion into global forwarding services.

• Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations (Ocean FCL/LCL, Air Freight, Inland & Drayage)
• Ensure compliance with FMC regulations, NVOCC requirements, TSA, and U.S. Customs rules
• Manage relationships with ocean carriers, airlines, overseas agents, and vendors
• Supervise shipment documentation including Bills of Lading, AWBs, ISF, AES, invoices
• Coordinate shipments from booking through final delivery
• Resolve operational issues, service failures, and customer escalations
• Develop and implement SOPs for forwarding and NVOCC operations
• Train and manage operations staff as the department grows
• Monitor KPIs, costs, and service performance
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting

• 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or international logistics
• Strong knowledge of Ocean Freight and NVOCC operations; air freight experience a plus
• Working understanding of FMC compliance, Incoterms, and international trade documentation
• Experience coordinating with customs brokers and overseas partners
• Proven leadership and operational management experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with TMS, freight forwarding software, and MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
