Franchise Development Manager

Job Title: Franchise Development Manager – Health and Wellness Location: Mumbai Department: Franchise Development / Business Development Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Franchise Development Manager to lead the expansion of our health and wellness brand through strategic franchise growth. This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified franchise partners who align with our mission to promote healthy living and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Franchise Expansion Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive franchise development strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Analyze market trends, target territories, and competitive landscape to identify prime growth opportunities. Lead Generation & Recruitment Source, qualify, and manage leads through a structured sales pipeline process. Cultivate relationships with potential franchisees via calls, discovery days, webinars, and industry events. Present the brand’s value proposition, franchise model, and ROI potential to prospective partners. Due Diligence & Onboarding Evaluate candidates based on financial qualifications, business acumen, and brand alignment. Guide prospects through the franchise sales process, including FDD disclosure, interviews, and approval. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to franchise regulations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing to implement franchise lead generation campaigns and events. Partner with operations to ensure smooth transitions from signed agreement to franchise opening. Provide feedback to leadership on market dynamics and franchisee performance trends. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in franchise development, preferably in the health, fitness, or wellness sector. Proven track record of franchise sales and territory development. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of franchise laws and FDD documentation. Passion for health, wellness, and entrepreneurship.
