Job Description

Ensure timely receipt, inspection, and movement of materials to production lines.
Manage and optimize material storage, FIFO practices, and inventory accuracy.Coordinate with production, quality, planning, and procurement teams to maintain just-in-time supply to assembly lines.Lead and coach a team of store executives, material handlers, forklift operators, and logistics staff.Monitor and improve KPIs such as inventory turn ratio, space utilization, material availability, and handling time.Enforce safety, 5S, and lean manufacturing standards across the FOP areas.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce material handling costs and improve efficiency.Collaborate with vendors and transporters to resolve inbound delivery issues.Ensure compliance with ERP/WMS systems and update material transactions promptly.Support audits, traceability, and documentation requirements as per quality and regulatory norms.Key Skills and CompetenciesStrong knowledge of automotive manufacturing logistics and material handling.Proficiency in SAP / ERP / WMS systems.Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and Kaize
