Job Description

1. Operations Management:

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of the food court's daily operations.
  • Ensure that all food outlets adhere to operational standards, including food quality, presentation, and service efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing wastage.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.

2. Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and schedule food court staff, such as cooks, servers, cashiers, and cleaning personnel.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to employees.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, and employee development.
  • Manage staff payroll, attendance, and work schedules.

3. Vendor Relations:

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with food vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery of goods.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any concerns related to quality or service.

4. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for the food court's operational expenses.
  • Analyse sales data and financial reports to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue growth.
  • Implement strategies to increase sales and customer traffic.

5. Marketing and Promotions:

  • Collaborate with the property management or marketing team to plan and execute marketing and promotional activities.
  • Create and oversee loyalty programs, discounts, and special offers to attract and retain customers.
  • Coordinate with tenants to organize joint events or marketing initiatives.

6. Facility Maintenance:

  • Ensure the food court area is clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically appealing at all times.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any issues related to equipment, lighting, or infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
  • Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a food court, restaurant, or similar environment with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, analyse financial reports, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed in a commercial establishment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
