This critical role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of metal fabrication techniques, lean manufacturing principles, and a proven track record of optimizing production processes. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and forecasts to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Coordinate with sales, engineering, and supply chain departments to ensure timely availability of materials and information. Monitor production progress against schedules and make necessary adjustments to address bottlenecks or delays. Operations Management: Oversee all stages of metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, welding, forming, machining, finishing, and assembly. Ensure efficient workflow, optimal machine utilization, and adherence to production targets. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to drive continuous improvement. Identify and resolve production issues, technical problems, and quality discrepancies. Quality Assurance & Control: Establish and enforce rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process.
