Job Description

As a Financial Crime Validation Internal Auditor at Barclays, you will be part of the newly established Barclays Internal Audit Financial Crime Validation team, working collaboratively with colleagues in London, Glasgow, and India. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the validation of regulatory findings and recommendations, with a focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML). Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing, checking, and challenging work related to financial crime validation - Providing support in the development of audits aligned with the bank's standards and objectives - Identifying operational risks to support the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Audit Plan - Assessing internal control effectiveness and alignment with regulatory requirements - Communicating key findings and recommendations to stakeholders - Staying updated on regulatory news and industry trends to provide timely insights Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge and experience in financial crime risk, control, and AML - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - High attention to detail - Previous experience in Audit, Assurance, or Compliance, preferably with an AML background Barclays Values: All colleagues at Barclays are expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship.
