About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, CA-qualified Finance Controller who will take complete ownership of the finance function in our growing startup. This leadership role requires you to drive financial strategy, ensure end-to-end compliances including Income Tax, GST, ROC/secretarial, FEMA/RBI, and other statutory matters, manage investor relations, and safeguard company wealth. You will also oversee daily finance operations such as vendor payments, collections, bookkeeping, payroll, claims, and employee welfare funds, while closely working with founders to monitor burn rate, optimize cash flow, track unit economics (CAC, CLV, customer-wise profitability), and build a strong, scalable, and investor-ready financial foundation.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

• High adaptability to startup culture – ability to work independently or in a team and deliver at speed.

• 1 - 2 years of experience in a finance role.

• Expertise in accounting, taxation, audits, compliance, and bookkeeping.

• Experience managing vendor payments, collections, claims, and employee welfare funds.

• Strong knowledge of equity, cap tables, investor relations, and fundraising.

• Proven track record in treasury, cash flow management, and burn monitoring.

• Strong analytical skills with ability to provide strategic insights.
