Senior Node JS Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to build cohesive solutions.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Write unit and integration tests using modern frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest).
• Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making.
• Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in working with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience with API design and documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based APIs and microservices testing.
• Understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
