Financial Controller

Financial Reporting & Accounting

· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

· Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

· Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

· Lead the annual budgeting process.

· Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis.

· Monitor cash flow, banking, and liquidity.

· Implement and maintain internal control systems.

· Ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate policies.

· Liaise with external auditors and ensure successful audits.

· Oversee tax planning and compliance (Income tax, GST.).

· File statutory returns on time.

· Manage and mentor accounting and finance teams.

· Establish departmental goals and performance metrics.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills :- Accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), Excel, financial modeling

Soft Skills :- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, leadership, integrity

Qualifications :- CA or Semi Qualified CA, CMA

Experience :- Typically 5+ years in finance, with experience in accounting and reporting roles
