Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1100000 (ie INR 5-11LPA)

Requirements

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare monthly analysis and dashboards covering key financial statement accounts (income statement and balance sheet), aligned with management expectations.
  • Contribute to finance-led process improvement initiatives and support special projects, including ad-hoc business performance reporting.
  • Review internal financial controls on a quarterly basis in collaboration with stakeholders, recommending updates when necessary.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and investigate significant variances.
  • Analyze income statements and general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Provide guidance on new accounting treatments as required.
  • Coordinate and assist with the annual budgeting process, engaging with various business stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver balance sheet reconciliations to senior management.
  • Conduct income statement flux analysis, collaborating with relevant teams to explain variances.
  • Work closely with finance teams in India and the US to exchange best practices and identify opportunities for simplification.
  • Support monthly financial close activities, including results analysis and variance reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy of monthly revenue and expense reporting, contributing to EBITDA precision.
  • Implement and manage business intelligence tools and dashboards, acting as a liaison between finance and business teams to facilitate decision-making.
  • Develop and analyze departmental KPIs and financial models to support strategic initiatives and provide insights for departmental heads and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification (any one of the following):
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with an MBA from a top business school and 5+ years of relevant experience; or
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of relevant experience; or
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2+ years in a Big Four firm and 1+ year of relevant industry experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with international teams, especially in the US.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
