Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Finance/Accounting Analyst. In this role, you will deliver robust asset management solutions by providing timely reporting services, analyzing financial data, and preparing underwriting models. You will be responsible for reviewing financial statements, confirming variances, reporting anomalies, and supporting fund modeling activities. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-impact financial projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Asset Management

• Create and update asset management models and reports on a monthly basis.
• Input preliminary data from client data sources, including financial statements, broker offering memorandums (OMs), and underwriting models, into templates.
• Perform data entry from historical financial statements into cash flow models.
• Conduct market research using internal and external databases and prepare detailed reporting.

2. Underwriting

• Input preliminary financial and operational data into underwriting models following company handbooks and checklists.
• Update and iterate underwriting models rapidly based on feedback and evolving deal terms.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to benchmark assumptions and deliver actionable insights.

3. Fund Services

• Assist in fund modeling activities, including cash management, fund-level scenario analysis, and waterfall calculations for distributions.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Data Management, Real Estate, or a related field.

Preferred Credentials:

• CPA or CFA designation is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in financial terms, concepts, and accounting principles.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with market research tools and databases.
