Role: Financial Accountant
Reports to: Business Finance Partner
Location: Bangalore (On-site)
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts: Journal entries for Revenue, COGS, Expenses, Provisions, Payroll, Intercompany transactions etc
- Conduct monthly closing activities and related reconciliations.
- Record all bank statements and prepare BRS
- Prepare balance sheet schedules – including AP/AR ageing, Inventory, deferred revenue, provisions, prepaid expenses and other related schedules
- Process vendor invoices and manage AP
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in preparation for statutory and internal audit.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports
- Track budget vs actuals and analyse key variances
- Maintain documentation to support audit trails and internal controls.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, procurement) for data collation and financial alignment.
- Assist business units with forecast input, revenue tracking, and performance monitoring.
* BCom, MBA or finance related field
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. QuickBooks is a plus.
* Solid understanding of accounting standards.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
* Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with comfort in handling multiple business units and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Financial Statements and financial analysis
