Finance Manager

Job Overview: Peejay Ventures is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, including sales billing, purchase recording, payment follow-ups, client collections, and report preparation. The position also requires assisting the Accounts Head with additional accounting and clerical tasks as needed.

Manage and oversee daily financial operations of the company.

Daily Closing of Petty Cash Book.

Counter-check Payroll and submit to management for releasing payments (by the 3rd day of every month).

Verify rent computations and coordinate with Accounts team for tax invoices related to transportation services.

Preparation of Vehicle Profit and Loss Accounts on a monthly basis.

Perform Ledger Confirmation with customers and reconcile balances periodically.

Prepare and monitor the Finance Budget.

Manage Receivables and Payables efficiently.

Allocate Daily Sales reports to the operations team.

Post Costing PL Summary and ensure timely reporting in Accounts WP group.

Post Daily Financial Summaries (Debtors, Cash, Bank, Creditors) in the Accounts WP group.

Ensure timely preparation of Day Book.

Oversee Payment Management for suppliers and creditors.

Coordinate with management for financial decision-making and compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.

5–9 years of proven experience in finance/accounts, preferably in the logistics/trading/manufacturing sector.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and other accounting software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Leadership skills with the ability to manage a small accounts team.

Compensation:

· Salary CTC: Up to ₹40,000 - ₹50,000 per month (based on experience) Incentives
