Role:
Organisation is seeking application for the position of Manager, Finance as part of the Finance team. This role will be mainly responsible for the regular execution and monitoring of transactions, reporting, and other areas as identified in brief below relating to the AMC business.
The candidate should be well versed with processes and systems and should be willing to work as a good team member. Apart from the regular activities, the candidate shall also be involved in certain special projects like Software system migration, automation, etc. from time to time.
Responsibilities:
a) Accounting:
a. Timely and accurate day to day transaction recording in accounting system. Experience with Microsoft D365 system is preferred
b. To ensure timely and accurate monthly book closure within 5 days from month end
c. To maintain fixed assets register, and proper accounting for treasury transactions
d. To maintain accurate computation of accrual of income, provision for expenses, prepaid expenses, depreciation, income tax provision, deferred tax, MTM & Fx adjustments, and schedules of PL, BS and FS disclosure items
e. To ensure timely compliance with TDS, GST, Income Tax and other statutory dues and related fillings within statutory timelines
b) Reporting:
a. To prepare weekly and monthly MIS, quarterly interim financial statements, and year-end financial statements in Indian GAAP and IndAS, Tax Audit 3CD report, and other reporting done by the team
b. To provide data to various audit teams (statutory audit, internal audit, GST audit, Tax audit, auditor appointed by investor / external parties and regulators and ensure proper coordination and timely audit completion
c) Other areas:
a. To effectively execute any project based work from time to time in time bound manner and improving current processes by following work-flow based organised approach
Requirements and Qualifications:
a) Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance with experience of upto 3 years post qualification, experience in asset management or private equity industry will be preferred
b) Basic knowledge of IGAAP and IndAS is required
c) Problem solving skills and attention to detail and able to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
d) Experience on working with ERPs like Microsoft D365 system is preferred, Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with fast and exact data processing skills
e) Quick learner and ability to effectively work as an individual contributor
f) Good communication skills is required
g) Must operate with the highest level of integrity and professional conduct
h) Job location will be based out of Gift city, Gandhinagar. Candidate to be flexible for travel to Mumbai, as required, for work reasons
