Job Description

Coordinates and implements accounting work and special projects as assigned.
Conducts and follows up on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) audits across property departments.
Ensures compliance with federal and state laws regarding fraud prevention and collection protocols.
Prepares timely and accurate reports, presentations, and financial deliverables.
Analyzes data and evaluates results to solve financial or operational problems effectively.
Compiles, codes, audits, and verifies a variety of financial information and transactions.
Maintains and balances credit card ledgers.
Reviews group contracts and performs credit reference checks for direct billing arrangements.
Achieves and exceeds key performance, budget, and team objectives.
Develops work plans to organize, prioritize, and accomplish financial goals.
Submits accurate financial reports by deadlines and ensures correct documentation of profit and loss.
Monitors taxes to ensure timely collection, accrual, and compliance.
Maintains strong internal controls to protect financial assets.
Completes month-end and period-end accounting functions consistently.
Provides guidance on accounting and budgeting policies to other departments for effective financial resource use.
Demonstrates expertise in accounting procedures including check returns, revenue reporting, and deposit processes.
Maintains proficiency in accounting systems and continually updates job knowledge.
