Our client, headquartered in the USA with offices globally is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented finance leader to head the Finance, Accounting, and Compliance functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust review and control system across all financial transactions, ensuring adherence to Indian GAAP, tax laws, regulatory compliance, and group reporting requirements. The role requires strong leadership, deep domain knowledge, and the ability to drive standardization, automation, and accuracy in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Compliance:

·      Oversee accurate recording of financial transactions in line with Indian GAAP.

·      Ensure month-end close processes are timely and accurate.

·      Review and manage statutory financial reporting, ROC compliances, and tax filings.

·      Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements including Companies Act, FEMA, Direct and Indirect Taxation, and Transfer Pricing norms.

Financial Controls & Transactions:

·      Establish and monitor financial controls over payments, invoicing, collections, and documentation.

·      Ensure integrity and accuracy in books of account and financial information.

Group Reporting:

·      Lead timely and accurate group reporting in line with parent organization’s reconciliation and reporting calendar.

Audit & Assurance:

·      Drive completion of statutory, tax, and TP audits with zero or minimal audit observations.

·      Manage preparation of all deliverables and audit documentation.

Process Excellence:

·      Develop and maintain SOPs for finance, accounts, and compliance processes.

·      Identify opportunities for automation and implement standardization in routine work.

Requirements:

Education:

Experience:

·      15–18 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, and Compliance.

·      Hands-on experience in general accounting, finance control, taxation, reporting, and budgeting.

·      In-depth knowledge of Indian financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and secretarial compliances.

·      Proven track record of successfully managing audits, including statutory, tax, and TP audits.

·      Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

·      Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
