Role Description

The Finance team is an integral part of any business. At Mudrex, they’re more than just an important part of the business — they’re our backbone. As we expand in India and globally we require champions who can help us build and scale the finance team. Our financial people support all areas of the company and assess the financial implications of various key strategic decisions and growth opportunities all day long. We are seeking a strong finance professional to lead all finance operations, including reporting, accounting, and auditing, alongside a team of smart and driven individuals. 

What you’ll do here at Mudrex:

• Leading the monthly financial close process for the Client Flows portfolio, including ensuring all accounting and reconciliations are completed within deadline.
• Financial reporting (consolidated and standalone) to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting for key processes and products.
• Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting, reconciliation, and overall control environment.
• Helping automate our accounting, reconciliation, and control processes while developing our accounting and reconciliation platforms.
• Supporting the group and legal entity audits, along with other regulatory deliverables.
• Collaborating with various teams on the launch of new products and markets, providing accounting advice and implementation support.
• Oversight of comprehensive banking operations to ensure smooth financial transactions.
• Auditing, transaction reconciliation and reporting of transactions.
• Running Audits and reporting for our India and Global Business.
• Collaboration with consultants to fulfill regulatory obligations efficiently. 
• Ensuring the organization's adherence to all legal requirements and staying current with regulatory changes.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws & regulations across multiple entities.
• Understanding and knowledge of payroll processes and workings.

What we are looking for in you:

• A degree in finance or economics or any relevant accounting qualification
• 8+ years of experience in finance and controlling functions
• Team management experience
• Excellent accounting knowledge, with proven experience with IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
• A structural and logical approach to solving problems
• Solid analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
• Experience within a fast-growing organisation
• Great motivation and focus on delivery
• Experience in financial services, ideally in fintech and/or payment sectors
