Finance Lead & Manager for Educational Institutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the finance team to manage tuition collection and prepare comprehensive financial reports on tuition revenue and related metrics.
• Finalize monthly accounts by preparing balance sheets and generating profit & loss statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Negotiate with vendors, handle quotations, and manage negotiations for land and building rents to secure favourable terms and achieve cost savings.
• Lead the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors from Guntur, and ensure all audit requirements are met and completed in a timely manner.
• Conduct periodical group reporting on a fortnightly, monthly, and annual basis to keep stakeholders informed about financial performance and status.
• Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster professional growth and achieve departmental goals.
• Review and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy, compliance with financial regulations, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Oversee and manage statutory audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
• Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to align with organizational goals.
• Oversee taxation compliance and manage all related financial obligations, including timely filing and payment of taxes.
• Conduct surprise visits to branches across Hyderabad (Nizampet, Kondapur, Madinaguda, Patancheru, ECIL, Medchal, Ghatkesar, AS Rao Nagar, and Dilsuknagar) to ensure compliance with financial practices and accuracy in reporting.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Prepare and analyse fee collection reports for all 9 branches to track revenue and identify any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/ICWA preferred).

· Should be less than 45 years of age

· 5 to 8 years of relevant experience auditing, accounting, or financial compliance and with a strong background in the education and infrastructure sector.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), taxation, and compliance.

· Proven experience in handling GST compliance and responding to notices.

· Expertise in financial software like Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks.

· Strong communication and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel and financial tools.

· Demonstrated knowledge in managing foreign LCs and staying updated on RBI and import/export regulations.

· Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis.

· Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
