Full-Time | Field-Based Role

Role Overview

The Field Sales Manager will lead and oversee the sales team within the assigned region, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and efficient execution of field sales operations. You will manage distributor and retail partnerships, drive primary and secondary sales, and implement strategies to strengthen market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the field sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize productivity
  • Develop and execute sales plans covering distributor management, retail expansion, and customer engagement
  • Monitor primary and secondary sales performance, stock levels, and collections
  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure compliance with merchandising, product availability, and promotional activities
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics
  • Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to support product launches and campaigns
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG sales experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong team management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities
  • Results-driven with a hands-on approach to managing field operations
  • Proficient in sales data analysis and reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
