Field Engineer – Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) System
Location:Pan India (Gujrat and Haryana)

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer with strong technical expertise in ANPR, RFID, Lidar/Radar, Surveillance Cameras, LPUs, Antenna Systems, and Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) for Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling projects. The candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of MLFF equipment and network infrastructure, ensuring seamless system performance and integration with backend servers and control rooms.
Key Responsibilities:· Install, configure, and align ANPR cameras, RFID antennas, Lidar/Radar sensors, and surveillance systems as per MLFF project requirements.
· Perform installation and termination of OFC networks, including splicing, OTDR testing, and troubleshooting.
· Set up and maintain Local Processing Units (LPU), network switches, and field controllers.
· Coordinate with the control room team for system integration, health monitoring, and remote diagnostics.
· Conduct site surveys, equipment layout verification, and alignment calibration for accurate vehicle detection and classification.
· Perform network configuration (IP assignments, VLAN setup, device communication, etc.) and ensure secure connectivity between field devices and backend servers.
· Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with OEMs or vendors for technical resolution.
· Ensure proper documentation of installation activities, network diagrams, and test reports.
· Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and client demonstrations.
· Adhere to safety protocols, project timelines, and quality standards during field operations.
Required Skills and Competencies:· Hands-on experience with: ANPR systems, RFID readers/antennas, Lidar/Radar sensors, CCTV cameras.
· OFC splicing, testing (OTDR/Power meter), and fault rectification.
· Networking devices – switches, routers, media converters.
· Server setup and control room monitoring tools.
· Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, NVRs, and system integration protocols (HTTP, MQTT, RS485).
· Familiarity with MLFF / ITS / Tolling systems preferred.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage on-site teams under project timelines.
Qualifications:· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering.
· 2–6 years of experience in ITS, Toll Automation, or Smart City Projects.
· Certifications in Networking (CCNA/Equivalent) or Fiber Optics will be an added advantage.
Work Environment:· Frequent travel to project sites across India.
· Field-based role with coordination between installation teams, vendors, and central control room.
