About the Role


The Export Manager will be responsible for driving export sales and business development, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.



Responsibilities



  • Export Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales in international markets.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors, agents, and clients globally.


  • Market Research & Expansion:

  • Conduct research to identify new market opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.


  • Client Management:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with international clients.
  • Address client inquiries, complaints, and provide post-sales support.


  • Documentation & Compliance:

  • Oversee export documentation, including invoices, LC, and certificates.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.


  • Coordination:

  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping agents for smooth operations.


  • Reporting & Analysis:

  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • Analyze sales performance and suggest improvements.


Qualifications


  • Education:

    MBA/PGDM in International Business.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5-7 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the foodservice or FMCG industry. Proven track record of driving export growth.


Required Skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of export documentation, international trade regulations, and INCOTERMS.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).


Preferred Skills


  • Experience in managing international client relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
