Export Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Export Operations: Manage all aspects of the export process, including planning, organizing, and executing export activities to ensure timely and efficient shipment of goods.
• Develop Export Strategies: Create and implement strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs associated with international trade.
• Documentation Management: Prepare and manage export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements, liaising with customs authorities and government bodies as necessary.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new export opportunities and monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Negotiation: Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements to optimize logistics and costs.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance and market trends, providing insights to upper management for strategic planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Business, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically required. B.Tech or BE in Electrical with Certified courses in Export Management will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Candidates usually have 1-5 years of experience in export operations, international logistics, or trade compliance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective negotiation and relationship management.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and performance metrics.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy in documentation.

Work Environment Export Managers typically work in an office setting to followup with partners and oversee operations in different countries. The role often involves collaboration with various departments, including sales, logistics, and compliance teams.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
