Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1.Export & Import Documents

Prepare export invoices, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, etc.
Handle import documents for raw materials/equipment.
Ensure all documents follow customs and shipping rules.

2. Logistics & Shipment Coordination

Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
Track shipment status and update the team/clients.
Work with warehouse team for packing, labeling, and dispatch.

3. Compliance & Records

Maintain records of all export-import files.
Ensure government rules and certificates (phytosanitary, fumigation) are followed.
Stay updated with changes in export laws.

4.Communication & Team Coordination

Coordinate with sales, production, and accounts for smooth documentation.
Communicate with clients/suppliers regarding shipment details.
Solve any document errors or queries quickly.

Preferred candidate profile

Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or similar.
3 - 5 years experience in Export-Import work (coco peat/coir/agri industry preferred).
Good knowledge of export documentation & customs clearance.
MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good communication, planning & coordination skills.
Knowledge of INCOTERMS, LC, export finance is an added advantage.
