This role focuses on ensuring customer retention, new customer acquisition, timely renewal, and effective conversion from guarantee to AMC contracts. The Assistant Manager also supports the Manager in cash flow management, achieving customer satisfaction metrics, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing sales plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets for AMC and Spares (SOS) business as defined by the Manager.
  • Assisting in converting potential customers from guarantee to AMC contracts, ensuring an expanded and loyal customer base.
  • Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing customers to ensure high retention rates.
  • Supporting efforts to grow the AMC Total Revenue (TR) by ensuring timely renewals and maintaining continuous customer engagement.
  • Assisting in managing cash flow by ensuring timely payment collections and minimizing outstanding balances.
  • Monitoring and tracking financial metrics, including outstanding balances, and report discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Identifying opportunities for business growth, including acquiring new customers and developing new market segments.
  • Supporting the development and execution of sales proposals, tenders, and business opportunities to expand the AMC and Spares business.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to AMC sales, such as revenue, retention rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Preparing regular reports for the Manager, highlighting areas of success, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensuring acquisition of new customers by identifying potential leads, developing customer proposals, and assisting in negotiations.
  • Ensuring timely renewal of existing AMC contracts and assist in implementing strategies to reduce customer churn.
  • Collaborating closely with the Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for business goals.

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-8 years in sales roles, preferably in the HVAC or related industry.
  • Experience in AMC sales, customer relationship management, and business development.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
