About the Role
This is a pivotal role for the JCBL Group. The Executive Assistant (EA) will act as the right hand to the Managing Director (MD) and will be deeply involved in high-stakes business activities. With a strong foundation in engineering and finance, the EA will help translate strategic intent into efficient action, ensuring that the MDs time and decisions are fully supported and optimized.
Please note that this is a 6 day work week
Key Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the Managing Directors calendar, travel, engagements and prioritized briefings—ensuring their time is guarded, optimized, and aligned with the organization’s highest-impact initiatives.
- Lead the creation, refinement and delivery of executive-level materials—board decks, financial summaries, business performance reports—enabling the MD to make informed strategic decisions.
- Serve as the primary interface between the MD and senior leadership, external partners, regulators and clients—facilitating seamless, professional and timely communication with impeccable discretion.
- Drive key business initiatives by collating data, tracking milestones, identifying issues, and ensuring closure of action items—translating strategy into execution with precision and urgency.
- Manage sensitive correspondence, regulatory filings, and confidential documents with absolute integrity. Monitor compliance and escalate risks proactively to protect organizational reputation and leadership effectiveness.
- Plan and execute leadership forums, off-site sessions and executive meetings—developing agendas, securing logistics, ensuring participation and driving follow-up on outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech in Engineering
and
MBA– mandated
. - Minimum 10 years of experience supporting C+ executive in a large organisation, preferably in manufacturing, industrial or engineering-oriented industries.
- Excellent command of MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word), strong presentation and report-writing skills.
- Exceptional organisational ability with the capacity to multitask, prioritise effectively and manage dynamic schedules.
- Superior written and verbal communication, able to interact with internal leaders and external stakeholders professionally.
- High level of discretion, integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
- Analytical mindset, with capability to interpret financial/technical information and provide meaningful briefings.
- Proactive, self-motivated with a “get things done” attitude—anticipates needs and works independently.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment (mechanical/industrial) is a strong plus.
- Comfort with fast-paced environments, shifting priorities and international travel.
- Ability to build productive relationships across functions (Operations, Finance, Sales, Engineering) and to act as an extension of the MD.
- Knowledge of project tracking, MIS systems, or ERP tools will be beneficial.
