Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Shipping Sales Representative. The role involves identifying potential clients, developing relationships, and securing shipping contracts to drive business growth. Daily tasks include prospecting for new leads, providing tailored shipping solutions, coordinating with operational teams, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts. Additional responsibilities may involve ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining industry knowledge.

Qualifications

Sales and Business Development skills, including lead generation, contract negotiation, and client relationship management
Knowledge of Shipping, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Problem-solving and organizational skills
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and adapt to a dynamic environment
Familiarity with transportation regulations and international shipping practices is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred
