PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Activities and Office, facility / building, process equipments and utilities maintenance 1.1 Readings for power, water, and DG, calculating the power and water Consumption to be taken, monitoring, and entering in the logbook. 1.2 Backwash to RO and Softener Plant on daily basis. Checking for Chlorine and SMBS solution before starting and proper dosing of solution 1.3 Daily Checking for softener plant hardness and filling the record for the same. 1.4 Coordination or follow-up with MSEDCL during power failure and maintain the record. 1.5 Attending the breakdown calls and rectified the same with minimum time. 1.6 Daily Plant round for both the plants and allocation of work to the casuals and ensure that work has been done on time. 1.7 Checking and monitoring diesel consumption and maintain/updating the record for the same. 1.8 Responsible for monitoring for cleaning of flycatcher and maintain the record for the same. 1.9 Responsible for updating and communicating with Assistant Manager for spare requisition. 1.10 Updating spares consumed during the breakdown and maintain the inventory. 1.11 Responsible to receive the service and maintenance requisitions and the pending service and maintenance requisitions and update the same with Assistant Manager/Manager. 1.12 Responsible to ensure that all the maintenance and repair activities being performed and supervised properly. 1.13 Responsible to take the work permit from seniors and safety of personal when performing maintenance and repair works. Break down maintenance 2.1 Responsible to ensure that the during break down maintenance identified the root cause and attended with minimum time. 2.2 Responsible to get breakdown intimation slip from concerned department and closed by coordination with the shift supervisor. 2.2 Responsible to update the History card record regarding breakdown maintenance. 2.3 Responsible to ensure that the AMC service providers are contacted and co- ordinated when breakdown of equipment under AMC occurs and record to be maintained. Preventive maintenance 3.1 Responsible for doing and ensure the preventive maintenance activities for equipments as per the Planned scheduled. Maintaining the inventory of consumables and spares for plant, process equipments and utility maintenance 4.1 Responsible to ensure that the critical and expensive spares and consumables are available in the inventory and update the same to Assistant Manager/Manager for unavailability of spares and maintained in logbooks. 4.2 Responsible to ensure that entries of the receipts and issues recorded in the logbooks. Systems and Procedures 5.1 Responsible to follow all the activities in the department by maintaining the system and procedures. 5.2 Responsible to maintain environment with safety aspects in the plant. 5.3 To ensure that the maintenance systems and procedures are followed and update them if required from time to time. Communication and Coordination 6.1 To maintain transparency and high integrity in all communication with all Concerned. 6.2 To keep in touch with all concerned colleagues in the Company and ensure that effective information flow is maintained. 6.3 To take help of higher authority to get the work done as and when the normal efforts fail to get results.
